Beacon Projects(2RT, 4RT& Inverter) in New Hampshire, West Lebanon(WL), USA, during Aug 20th to Aug 31st,2012;

MIGGUN Project and HARNESS Project in Hermosillo, Mexico during Sep 3rd to Sep 13th,2012.

   To learn the building, testing, Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) for all the above projects , as me a project responsible and participant, focused on the testing, quality assurance for all the projects, then especially have key processes/procedures together with teamwork to push the First Article Inspection (FAI), Pre-production(PP) and mass production go smoothly in our Ningbo plant when I contributed to VT, it’s also the goal that I joined VT starting the 5th day.
To inspect incoming material sampling with Documents supported such as Visual Color, inspection Standard, Tooling Calibration, PCB inspection, Quality Inspection Sheet(QIS)，Quality Level clear identification and so on, also I need check Bill of Materials (BOM) together with drawing(DWG) firstly, then built samples to Incoming Quality Control (IQC) with comparison pictures/standard when necessary and they will be better and so helpful; Process Control,Final Quality control(package included) & shipment, especially I should pay more attention to Critical To Quality( CTQ) items ; Also knew the process of Nonconforming(NCR) Product handling and quality status follow up; Evaluated Quality Records(Record retention times& storage of quality record) and it’s so important.
Based on the above almost same procedures learned,  In WL, I made a“PCB Rework Process” which learned from Robin who was so nice,draft plant own suitable procedures according to Burn-in & Welding test Procedures which learning from Tom and David; In Mexico, I tested & assembled Harness and also summarized 5 Types for MIGGUN Connectors as T: TWECO,M: MILLER,L: LINCOLN,X/XE: EURO-KWICK,H: HOBART, and concluded that Euro-kwick was different in assembly process and others are almost the same expect the connectors.
   Spent most of my times on checking QIS,  learning the process audit and final audit procedures, then reviewing the data sheet of NCR, Customer Complaint(CC), Scrap, FTT, DPM，FAI and also the details of corrective action from CC, in another side, I need note some maintenance Procedure for related testing equipments and taken back to plant for related personals’attention.
Generally speaking, this was a wonderful and memorable experience for the oversea job in the short one month.
